Sales ×10 and average order +50%
for a supplements store in a high-risk vertical
An online store of mushroom-based supplements in Montenegro had a product and no system. In twelve months we rebuilt the site with fiat payments in a high-risk vertical, set up positioning, ads, a sales script and a six-person team, solved account bans, and expanded to Serbia with a second warehouse. Sales grew ten times, average order by 50%.
The situation
A good product in a niche with real demand, sold through a store that could not reliably take card payments, with ads run on intuition and no sales process. Growth was flat and every account ban stopped revenue for days.
What we did
Payments and site. Built a store that accepts fiat card payments in a category that most providers classify as high-risk, which is the single hardest technical and commercial problem in this vertical.
Positioning and product line. Researched the market and the audience, restructured the supplement line and its positioning, created the visual materials and branding.
Marketing. Prepared and tested advertising hypotheses one by one, controlled every channel, solved the recurring problem of blocked ad accounts, and consulted customers directly on targeting-driven sales to learn what converts.
Sales. Wrote the sales script and set up the sales and marketing department so that consultations turned into orders consistently.
Operations. Organised warehouse replenishment, hired and interviewed staff, ran a team of six, kept the books and reporting.
Expansion. Opened a second country, Serbia, with its own warehouse.
The result
Sales volume grew ten times, average order value rose by 50%, and the brand went from one country to two. The owner got a working machine, not a list of recommendations.
FAQ
What does high-risk mean here?
Payment providers classify supplements as a high-risk category, so standard checkouts refuse the merchant or freeze funds. Getting fiat card payments working reliably on the store was the first unlock; everything else depended on it.
Where did the ×10 come from?
No single trick. A site that could actually take money, a clear product line and positioning, tested ad hypotheses instead of guesses, a written sales script for consultations, stock that did not run out, and a team that followed the process. The second country added a new market on top.
