Email, messengers & CRM

Email that earns its place in the inbox:
set up once, running every day

Most stores have an email tool connected and almost nothing automated inside it. We set up the account, clean the list, and build the automations that actually run without someone remembering to send a campaign.

Where the money leaks today

A typical store or SaaS account has an email platform connected because someone set it up during onboarding, and then nothing. No welcome sequence beyond the platform’s default, no abandoned cart flow, no message to a customer who bought once and never came back. The list itself usually has not been cleaned in a year, so a meaningful share of sends go to addresses that bounce or never open, which drags down deliverability for every email after.

The second leak is campaigns written one at a time, under deadline, with no plan connecting them. A holiday sale gets an email, then nothing for six weeks, then another sale email. There is no sequence doing the quiet work in between: nudging a browser who did not buy, thanking a buyer the day their order ships, checking in before a subscription renews.

The third leak is segmentation that does not exist. Every subscriber gets every email regardless of what they bought, how recently, or whether they have engaged with the last five sends. A customer who bought once six months ago gets the same blast as someone who ordered yesterday, and both tune out.

What we do

We start with an audit of your current list, platform configuration and deliverability: bounce rate, spam complaints, authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and a read on which existing automations, if any, are actually turned on. We clean the list, fix authentication, and recommend a platform if the current one does not fit your volume or budget.

Then we build the core flows that matter most first: a welcome sequence for new subscribers, an abandoned cart or browse recovery flow, a post-purchase sequence, and a win-back flow for customers who have gone quiet. Each flow is written from your actual products and customer questions, not a generic template, and tested against a sample of your list before it goes live to everyone.

Once the core is running, we add segmentation: by purchase history, product category, engagement level and lifecycle stage, so a loyal repeat buyer and a first-time visitor get different messages. We also set up a campaign calendar so one-off sends have a plan behind them instead of being written the night before.

What we need from you

Access to your email platform (or a decision on which one to use), access to your store or CRM so flows can read order and customer data, your product catalogue or price list, and any brand guidelines or templates you already use. If you run promotions or discounts, we need your rules on how deep and how often, the same way we agree discount caps for cart recovery automations.

How we measure

Every flow gets its own number: open rate, click rate, conversion rate and revenue attributed to that flow, reported monthly alongside list growth and unsubscribe rate. We also watch deliverability metrics, because a flow that converts well but damages sender reputation is a short-term win and a long-term cost. Reports go in a monthly call or a written summary, whichever you use for other channels, so email sits in the same conversation as paid ads and SEO rather than off on its own.

Price and timeline

Option Price What it covers Timeline
Launch or audit from $900 Platform setup, list cleaning, core flows (welcome, cart, post-purchase, win-back) 1 to 2 weeks
Monthly management from $700 / month Campaign calendar, new flows, segmentation, A/B tests, monthly reporting monthly, no lock-in
Full control, handover to your team from $2,200 Full build, documentation and training so your team owns and runs the platform 3 to 4 weeks

Email usually pairs with abandoned cart and browse recovery and win-back email campaigns as the next two flows worth building, and with segmentation and personalization once the core sequences are live. See the sales funnels and CRM service page for how email fits into a full funnel, and automate abandoned cart recovery if you want the cart flow running as an AI agent rather than a fixed sequence. For a real example of email and tracking rebuilt alongside a relaunch, see the sports nutrition sales ×2.7 case study.

FAQ

How much does email marketing setup cost?

From $900 for platform setup, list cleaning and the core automations (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back). A full program with campaign calendar and monthly management runs from $700 a month after launch.

How long until we see results?

Flows go live in 1 to 2 weeks. Early signal on open and click rates appears within the first send cycle; revenue from automations builds over 4 to 8 weeks as more customers pass through each flow.

What budget do we need?

The platform itself (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot) usually costs $20 to $300 a month depending on list size, separate from our setup fee. No ad spend is required, this is owned-channel marketing.

What do we need from you?

Access to your email platform and store or CRM, your product catalogue or price list, and any existing brand templates. If you have no platform yet, we help you pick one that fits your stack and budget.

How do you report on performance?

A monthly report showing revenue, open rate, click rate and unsubscribe rate per flow and per campaign, so you can see which automation is actually paying for itself.
