A web3 game economy that balances itself,
instead of inflating into worthlessness

Almost every web3 game economy dies the same way: more tokens flow in than out, and the currency is worthless within months. We design the sinks before the faucets go live, and wire the economy into your game backend, not a spreadsheet nobody updates.

What it is and who needs it

A web3 game economy is the set of earning mechanics (faucets), spending mechanics (sinks), and trading rules that give an in-game currency or asset real, lasting value instead of a number that inflates to zero. The design work matters more than the contract code: a token with no meaningful sink becomes worthless regardless of how well the smart contract is written. This is for a game adding play-and-earn mechanics, an NFT asset layer, or a player marketplace, on web3 rails or a points system that may move on-chain later.

What is inside

An economy model built before a line of contract code: what players earn, what they spend it on, and whether the spending genuinely offsets the earning at projected player volumes, modeled with real numbers, not assumed healthy. Token or NFT asset contracts for whatever needs to be on-chain, often less than teams initially assume, since not every in-game item needs blockchain overhead to be valuable to a player. A trade or marketplace layer between players, with fee and royalty logic if that fits the design. Anti-bot and anti-farming checks on earning mechanics, because an economy without them gets drained by scripts within weeks of launch, a pattern we have seen and designed against. A live dashboard tracking supply, velocity and the sink-to-faucet ratio, so a team can see drift toward inflation before players feel it.

How we build it

We model the economy on paper and in a simple simulation before any contract exists, testing the sink-to-faucet ratio against realistic player counts and behavior, including the behavior of players actively trying to exploit the system, because that group shows up fast in any economy with real value attached. Contracts come next, built only for what genuinely needs on-chain permanence; a lot of game-economy value can live in your own database with an on-chain bridge added later if demand justifies the gas cost. Anti-bot and anti-farming logic is designed alongside the earning mechanics, not retrofitted after a farming wave hits. We have run a 14-engine game club as our own product for years, which means we have watched in-game economies drift and have the instinct for where a design will break before it does. We also run the sink-to-faucet simulation against a range of player-count scenarios, not just the optimistic launch projection, since an economy that balances at ten thousand players can still break at a hundred thousand if a sink does not scale the same way a faucet does. Weekly demos during the build let your team see the economy dashboard tracking simulated data before it ever tracks a real player base. We also build a manual override into the balancing parameters from day one, so a team can respond quickly to an unexpected drift without waiting on a full redeploy.

Timeline and price

Tier Price What it covers
MVP from $4,500 Core flow, one platform or chain, ready to test with real users
Production from $10,000 Full feature set, handover docs, agency keeps running it with you
Full control (handover-ready) from $17,000 Same scope, built and documented for your own team to run with zero dependency on us

Timeline: 5 to 10 weeks for an MVP; production builds typically run longer depending on integrations.

What you own at the end

Any on-chain contracts, deployed from your own wallet, with source and tests in your repository. The economy model itself, documented with the parameters and assumptions behind the sink-to-faucet balance, not left as tuning only we understand. The dashboard and its underlying data, so you can watch the economy’s health without depending on us to tell you when something is wrong. The balancing model and its assumptions are documented clearly enough that a future designer, on your team or elsewhere, can pick up the tuning work without reverse-engineering our reasoning first.

FAQ

How much does a web3 game economy cost?

A token or point economy with basic sink/faucet design and in-game asset contracts starts at $4,500. A fuller economy with a player trade market, anti-bot checks and a live health dashboard runs $10,000 to $17,000.

How long does it take?

5 to 6 weeks for economy design and core contracts. 8 to 10 weeks when a player-to-player marketplace and anti-farming systems are in scope.

What is the stack?

Solidity or the chain-appropriate contract language for tokens and assets, a game backend in Node.js, Python or your existing engine's server framework, PostgreSQL for off-chain state, and a dashboard tracking supply and velocity in real time.

Who owns the economy and its contracts?

You. The token and asset contracts deploy from your own wallet, and the economy model, balancing parameters and dashboard are documented and handed over, not kept as a black box.

What support is included after launch?

30 days of monitoring and tuning as real player behavior reveals how the economy actually moves, plus a handover document on the balancing model. Ongoing tuning as the player base grows is available as monthly work, the same way we have operated a 14-engine game club long-term.
