Tasks on the wallpaper, no app to open:
native modules for Android and iOS
A consumer app prototype: tasks rendered off-screen to an image and set as the Android wallpaper or lock screen through a custom Kotlin module with debounced updates; iOS lock-screen and home widgets through WidgetKit and an App Group; four themes; three build profiles; reviewed by three specialised agents (Kotlin, Swift, JS) with race conditions and memory issues fixed.
Why it is interesting
Cross-platform frameworks stop at the edges of the operating system. Here the edges were the point: a Kotlin module that sets a rendered PNG as the system or lock-screen wallpaper and refreshes it on a debounce, and Swift widgets that read tasks through a shared App Group. A three-agent review found race conditions, an out-of-memory risk during rendering, empty screenshots and a widget privacy issue, all fixed before the first build.
