One app listing, tested against itself:
instead of guessed once and left alone

Most app listings get written once at launch and never touched again, while the keywords that actually drive installs keep shifting under them. We build an agent that drafts new title, subtitle, description and keyword variants on a schedule, checks them against your store's rules, and hands you a ranked set to test instead of a single guess.

The process today

An app store listing is written once, usually under launch pressure, and then left alone for months or years while the keywords people actually search for drift underneath it. Store search algorithms weight title, subtitle and keyword field differently and change their weighting over time, which means copy that ranked well a year ago can quietly lose ground without a single word changing. Industry ASO benchmarks commonly estimate that 15 to 30 percent of app discovery still comes through store search rather than external marketing, which makes stale listing copy one of the larger unforced errors a mobile product can make.

Manually testing listing copy is slow for a structural reason: App Store Connect and Google Play both support experiments, but writing a meaningfully different variant, checking it against character limits and policy rules for every localized market, and waiting out a test cycle takes real hours each time. Most teams run one experiment, maybe twice a year, instead of the continuous testing that would actually find the better-converting version of a title or an icon caption.

What the agent does

Drafts new title, subtitle and description variants on a schedule, each one a genuinely different angle (a feature-led version, a benefit-led version, a social-proof version) rather than minor word swaps.

Refreshes keyword research against current search data, tracking which terms are rising or falling for your category so the keyword field stays matched to what people are actually typing.

Checks every variant against store policy and character limits automatically, so nothing drafted gets rejected in review for a length or content issue that should have been caught before submission.

Localizes variants for each target market, adapting tone and keyword choice per language rather than translating the English version literally.

Sets up the A/B test in App Store Connect or Google Play’s experiment tools, and tracks which variant wins on conversion rate, not just impressions.

Tracks competitor listing changes, flagging when a competitor updates their title, icon or screenshots so your team knows the competitive set moved.

What stays with humans

The agent drafts and tests, it does not decide the brand’s final voice. Every new variant is reviewed by a person before it enters a live test, and any copy claim about health, finance or other regulated categories is checked by a human against the actual compliance rules for that market before it goes anywhere near a store listing. Visual assets (icon, screenshots, preview video) stay a design decision; the agent works on text and keyword strategy.

Guards

A review step where every drafted variant is approved before it enters an A/B test, so nothing untested reaches the live listing without a person seeing it first. After that, every variant is checked against character and policy limits automatically before submission, test results are logged so a decision to adopt a variant is based on data rather than a hunch, and a kill switch stops any pending test or draft submission instantly if something looks wrong.

Price and timeline

Package Price Best for
Single automation from $500 One app, one primary storefront, drafted and tested variants on a schedule
Department package from $2,500 ASO plus app store review replies and other development automations

3 to 7 days covers pulling your current listing and keyword data and drafting the first round of variants for approval.

Pairs with app store review replies since both read the same store data, and with push and email lifecycle messaging for apps running retention campaigns alongside acquisition. Part of automation of everything digital and built the way we build AI agents for our own products. Our own apps carry this kind of iteration discipline: the fitness app with an AI coach and TaskWall were both built and reviewed before any store listing went live, and the 40,235-phrase keyword core behind our AI persona’s 973-page SEO site is the same kind of keyword research discipline applied to a storefront instead of a website.

FAQ

How much does an ASO automation agent cost?

One app, one primary storefront, starts from $500. A department package covering ASO plus app review replies starts from $2,500, priced once we know how many apps and markets are in scope.

How long does it take to go live?

3 to 7 days: pulling your current listing and keyword performance, researching your actual competitive set, and drafting the first round of variants for your team to approve before anything goes into a live A/B test.

Which tools does it connect to?

App Store Connect and Google Play Console for listing data and experiments, third-party ASO data sources for keyword volume and competitor tracking, and Claude for drafting and ranking the copy variants against your brand voice.

What if a variant hurts conversion instead of helping?

Every variant runs as a proper A/B test against your current listing before it replaces anything permanently, so a losing variant is caught by the data and rolled back automatically rather than left live on a guess.

Is our app store account safe?

The agent reads listing and performance data through your own App Store Connect and Google Play credentials, scoped to listing management only, and submits variants for your review before anything goes live. Access can be revoked at any time.
