DAO tooling that counts votes correctly,
and a treasury nobody can quietly drain
A DAO is only as credible as its vote counting and its treasury controls. We build gated voting that cannot be sybil-farmed with a script, proposal workflows people actually use, and a treasury behind a multisig with every payout logged where members can see it.
What it is and who needs it
DAO tooling is the voting, proposal and treasury infrastructure that lets a token or NFT-holder community make and execute decisions without a central authority holding the keys. The two places this goes wrong most often are vote-weight calculation, letting a script split tokens across wallets to multiply influence, and treasury control, a single key able to move funds without the vote that was supposed to authorize it. This is for a community, protocol or project that needs real governance, not a forum poll dressed up as decentralization.
What is inside
Voting weight tied to verified on-chain holdings at a specific snapshot block, with checks against the simplest sybil pattern, splitting a holding across many wallets right before a vote. A proposal workflow: creation, a discussion period, then voting with a clear quorum rule, built so members understand exactly when and how a decision becomes final. A multisig treasury, typically Gnosis Safe on EVM chains or the equivalent on other chains, requiring more than one signer for any payout, with the signer set and threshold decided by your community, not defaulted by us. A public dashboard showing every proposal, every vote, and every treasury payout, because a DAO that cannot show its own history to its members is not actually decentralized, just opaque with a different label. Support for off-chain, gas-free voting (Snapshot-style) where the vote itself does not need to touch the chain, only the execution does.
How we build it
We start with the governance rules as your community actually wants them, quorum thresholds, who can propose, how long voting runs, because these are political decisions we help translate into code, not ones we make for you. Vote-weight calculation is tested against the sybil patterns that have actually broken other DAOs’ votes. The treasury is set up as a multisig from the very first transaction, with signers chosen and onboarded before any real funds move, we do not hold a bridging key at any point. The dashboard is built to be the thing members actually check, not a page nobody opens, which means it needs to load fast and show the current proposal state without a wallet connection required just to read it. We bring the same security-first default we use on anything holding funds on-chain, the same posture behind our own multichain wallet’s key handling. We also run a dry-run vote on testnet with your actual proposed quorum and vote-weight rules before any real governance decision depends on the system, since a quorum rule that looks reasonable on paper can behave unexpectedly once real token distribution and voter turnout are accounted for. Weekly demos let your core contributors test the proposal and voting flow themselves throughout the build, not just review a finished product at the end. We also walk through a worst-case scenario with you directly, a lost signer key, a contested proposal, so the treasury’s recovery path is understood before it is ever actually needed.
Timeline and price
| Tier | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| MVP | from $3,500 | Core flow, one platform or chain, ready to test with real users |
| Production | from $8,000 | Full feature set, handover docs, agency keeps running it with you |
| Full control (handover-ready) | from $13,500 | Same scope, built and documented for your own team to run with zero dependency on us |
Timeline: 4 to 8 weeks for an MVP; production builds typically run longer depending on integrations.
What you own at the end
The voting and proposal contracts or off-chain configuration, in your DAO’s own repository. The multisig treasury, controlled entirely by your chosen signers from day one, we never have standing access. The dashboard code and its data indexing, so members’ ability to see DAO history does not depend on our infrastructure staying online.

FAQ
How much does DAO tooling cost?
A voting and proposal system with a multisig treasury setup starts at $3,500. A fuller build with delegate voting, off-chain snapshot-style votes and a custom public dashboard runs $8,000 to $13,500.
How long does it take?
4 to 5 weeks for voting and treasury basics. 6 to 8 weeks for delegate voting, off-chain snapshot support and a polished member-facing dashboard.
What is the stack?
Snapshot-compatible off-chain voting where gas cost matters, on-chain voting contracts (OpenZeppelin Governor or similar) where it does not, Gnosis Safe for the multisig treasury, and a Next.js dashboard reading both on-chain and off-chain data.
Who owns the treasury and the contracts?
Your DAO's signers do, from the first multisig transaction. We set up the signer structure with you and hand over full control, we never hold a standing key to the treasury.
What support is included after launch?
A handover document covering the voting rules, quorum logic and signer setup, plus 30 days of fixes. Adding new proposal types or integrating a new voting weight source is available as ongoing work.
